Hotels on Water celebrates water-resorts and beauty spots.

I’ve tried to list the good value, high quality hotels on water – but only those next to beautiful lakes, rivers, canals or beaches in the UK and Ireland.

Mostly – whether privately owned, family concerns, pubs or luxury chains – they are regarded as the finest hotel examples of their kind. Some have been contributed by their respective owners and managers, but many more have been added by guests and customers. I’ve chosen a few more while travelling and working as a freelance-business journalist.

My hobby and passion is writing about UK holidays on water. I’m also the publisher and author of Campsites on Water.
