More than just a hotel. An island populated by seals and otters, next to Loch Creran, on the west coast of Scotland. A bridge connects the mainland. Eriska House was built in the 1880s, by the Stewarts of Appin, and became a hotel in the 1970s. There’s nine-hole golf course and leisure centre. Apart from relaxation and fine dining, guests can enjoy sailing, shooting or rambling around the 300 acre isle. web link
